Renewable energy is one of the pillars to gain a global sustainable environment and the commitment to climate change targets. Today the renewable energy market continues to make remarkable progress. In 2017 the World installed a record number of new solar project, more than net additions of coal, gas, and nuclear plants put together. This demonstrates the potential for renewable energy to fight climate change and boost economic growth. While there is much to be positive about, it is also evident that we need to continue to push the acceleration of the global renewable energy revolution.

International Tropical Renewable Energy Conference (i-TREC) is not only an annual conference series on tropical renewable energy, but also the premier forum for the presentation of new advances and research results about Renewable Energy in Tropical Countries. Hosted by The Faculty of Engineering Universitas Indonesia and co-hosted by the Faculty of Engineering Chulalongkorn University, The 4th International Tropical Renewable Energy Conference theme this year is Sustainable Energy and Environment for Tropical Climate. This conference is considered a prestigious event organized with a motivation to provide excellent international platform for the academics, researchers, engineers, industrial participants and students to share their research findings with the global experts and establish relations to find global partners for future collaboration. The 4^th i-TREC 2019 will be held from August 14-16, 2019 in The Anvaya Beach Resorts-Bali Indonesia.
